Ladies Third Team draw 2 – 2 with West Chiltington in epic battle

The match was played in in the breathtakingly beautiful Sussex countryside. All the matches were played under a blazing sun on a Bank Holiday weekend.

The first pair of the Pavilion & Avenue team (Josephine and Helen) lost 6 -3 and 7-6 despite being always ahead in the second set. But in their next match won comfortably 6-1 and 6 – 3.

Our second pair of Jemma and Carmel – although they lost to their opposing second pair managed to beat the West Chiltington first pair 7 – 5  7 -6. This was Jemma’s first match – so congrats all round.
