Our Second Team beat a strong Horsham First Team 4-0 to go top.

A grey but still Sunday morning saw the men’s 2nd’s overcome a strong Horsham 1st team 4 love in a hard fought battle to go top of the league again in their continuing rise up the leagues! Well done to Jayden & Chris and Brian & Neil. Knocking up I thought we were probably in trouble  but we still managed to make our own trouble when Brian and Neil won the first set of a rubber 6-0 then lost the 2nd set 1-6 – then 5 2 down in the CTB we woke up and won it 10-6.

The two Hobbs boys had no such trouble beating their opponents without dropping a set. 6-4 6-4 against their first pair and then outclassing their second pair 6-1 6-1.

The 2nd team has become a great squad and team with plenty of strength so we look forward to another successful season – thanks for being part of it and making it fun chaps!
