Pav & Ave has around 170 junior members with an age range of 3-18 years.
Many of our junior members take part in our very active coaching programme which caters for all ages and levels, from mini red, mini orange, mini green to traditional yellow ball squads.
Pav & Ave is delighted to be one of only two Local Player Development Centres (LPDC) in Sussex in recognition of our success in producing players at County, Regional, National and International level.
As an LPDC our objective is to provide regular, high-quality local training and competitions for aspiring players aged 10 and under whilst positively nurturing and enhancing their development and love of the game.
Our existing Club programme continues to cater for all ages and standards.
Competitions & tournaments
We offer mini red, orange, green and yellow ball events. In addition, matchplays and junior team tennis are available for players looking for extra opportunities.
During the Easter holidays, the club hosts the ‘Pav & Ave Junior Open’, a grade 4 tournament attracting players from outside the county as well as many of our own juniors. During the Spring/Summer the club’s Closed Championships take place.
Holiday Camps
We offer 3 weeks of Junior camps covering all age ranges, one during the Easter holidays and two during the Summer holidays.
Tennis Mark Status
Pavilion & Avenue has ‘Tennis Mark’ status, which is a mark of excellence awarded by the LTA in recognition of following guidelines concerning club management, coaching and child protection.
