Ladies Third Team v Southdown 4th Team : Match result 2-2

The Pav & Ave Ladies 3rd Team played Southdown 4th team at home on Sunday February 18th.

The result was a hard  draw fought draw  thanks to the first pair who played together for the first time for our club. The first pair was made up of new members  Jackie Engleburg & Susy Pettit who won both their rubbers. Their second match was particularly tough against a steady Southdown pair but with some excellent tennis managed from both claimed the win in a championship tie break.

Unfortunately our second pair, Josephine & Karen,  although putting up a valiant fight lost  both their matches . Still a good team performance against a strong club.
