Ladies’ Third team have convincing win over Hand in Cross

The Pavilion & Avenue Ladies 3rd team  had a convincing win (3-1) over Hand in Cross Ladies 3rd.  There were  comprehensive wins  for the first pair  of Mandy Tyler and  Ann Dutfield (6-1 / 6-0).  The second pair of Jackie Engelberg  and Suzy Pettit had to fight harder( 6-2 / 7/5)  as Suzy fell ill in the middle of first set. However Mandy and Ann were too strong for the opposition in the second match and Pavilion & Avenue finished the match as comfortable winners.
