Sunday October 11th – Finals Day – Order of Play
PAV & AVE CHAMPIONSHIPS – FINALS DAY Sunday 11th October

Thank you to all members who have taken part in the various events as without your participation, Finals Day would not be happening. It will be a little different this year but in spite of everything, we have already seen some excellent tennis with more matches than ever being completed these past six weeks and Sunday will still be Pav & Ave’s Special Day!
All matches will be played on the artificial clay courts – (morning Social tennis session will take place on courts 4 and 5 to start but might need to change to the hard courts mid morning).
Sound Tennis will also be running their matchplay event in the morning on one of the hard courts.
‘Ben’s Raffle’ Tie-Break Prizes will be happening from 2pm, (money raised was to help Tennis Sussex) and the lucky winners will be playing against some of our top young players as well as Brighton & Hove Albion’s ‘Bruno’.
There will be 3 rounds of matches during the day starting at 9.30am and the full schedule is below.
Because of Covid restrictions, trophy presentations will take place after each round of matches is completed.
‘Most Improved Player’ trophies will also be presented – you have until midnight on Saturday to let Andrea Pullin know – 07974 086617 your nominations for one or more of the following trophies:-

Junior 18&Under
Adult – Men 19 to 44 and Ladies 19 to 39
Vets – Men 45+ and Ladies 40+
The Bar will be open serving drinks, snacks, homemade soup & paninis. On entering the main Clubhouse area, please wear a mask, sanitise your hands and observe social distancing.
Supporters are welcome but please watch in small groups maintaining social distancing. As numbers are limited in the Clubhouse, suitable warm clothing, waterproofs, maybe a blanket and fold up chair are all advisable to help with cheering your player on.
