Mark Petchey trains Neilson Holiday coaches at Pavilion & Avenue

Neilson Holidays offer a wide range of activity holidays in Italy, Sardinia, Croatia and Greece. Popular with clients are a wide range of tennis holidays suitable for many standards including beginners to team and tournament standard. Head of the coaching programme  and brand ambassador is Mark Petchey who is an ex GB player and Andy Murray’s former coach.

Neilson Holidays and Mark Petchey chose Pavilion & Avenue tennis club as the base for their training week. It was at Pavilion & Avenue that Mark was able to take all the Neilson Head coaches through a series of drills and coaching ideas for the summer. Over two days ,Neilson Holidays were given access to the indoor bubble, the astroturf courts and the clay courts. Many of the Pavilion & Avenue players – both social and team standard volunteered for the coaching sessions so that Mark and his team could work on their programme for their tennis clinics and workshops.

At the end of the programme Mark described Pavilion & Avenue as being in the top 1% of  tennis clubs for facilities, atmosphere and variety of court surfaces.
